the 3 par 3 (3 by 3)

A character designed on a grid of three squares by three = 9 squares. This is not many. I have attempted the same on a grid of 1 square by 1. The result had great rigour, but was a little monotonous. With the 3/3 cactus and 3/3 thistle, Euclid swallows thorns.

The 12 poèmes saturniens, by Guillaume Pô, are « heterogrammatical » texts of 12 x 12 letters, each segment of which is composed of the most frequently used letters in the French language (E, S, A, R, T, I, N, U, L, O and C) and one of the remaining 15 letters. This contraint was invented by Georges Perec.
